Ashford Trilogy is a compendium of three episodes of Jet Rider mysteries and thrillers with a backdrop of a high end Art dealer Eleanor Ashford who owns the Ashford Fine Art Ltd, in the elite and sophisticated part of downtown Chicago. A place where not only high valued art was displayed but transacted as well. In these narratives Eleanor finds herself as an unwitting participator in the crimes disguised as Art.
Her intent did not matter. What mattered was the consequence of the actions of the perpetrators either in the underworld, or that of programers and then administrators in the realm of AI. All these being beyond her control and yet she was tethered to them in terms of responsibility. Realizing her limitations and risk, she seeks help form Jet Rider.
These stories are not about Eleanor or even the Ashford Fine Art. These are tales of relentless pursuit of truth by a private detective, Jet Rider, who is driven by his SEAL training, human compassion and overall a likable character.
From canvas to code, Jet Rider hunts the truth inside systems built to hide it.
The Second Canvas, Book 1
A Painted Lie, Book 2
The Gray code, Book 3
Former Navy SEAL turned private investigator Jet Rider is drawn into the refined world of Ashford Fine Arts when suspicious art transactions expose a larger conspiracy. Alongside gallery owner Eleanor Ashford, her gifted niece Lena Carter, and Jet’s allies Blake Singleton and Knoxy, he uncovers how forged paintings lead to digital color-coding and early artificial intelligence used to influence powerful institutions. What begins as art fraud becomes a battle against systems designed to quietly control outcomes and make people invisible. Across three linked novels, Jet and his team confront corruption that evolves from canvas to code—revealing that the most dangerous weapons are not guns, but algorithms.
